About Miitomo
Miitomo was Nintendo’s first-ever mobile app, designed to bring people together through fun and engaging conversations. The app allowed users to create personalized Mii avatars, dress them up, interact with friends, and answer questions to spark unique discussions.
Miitomo was part of Nintendo’s attempt to expand into mobile gaming, combining social networking with interactive gameplay. Users could take Miifotos, customize outfits, play minigames, and connect with friends in a lighthearted and engaging way.
However, Miitomo was discontinued on May 9, 2018, as Nintendo shifted its focus to other mobile projects.
