Cloud9 complete. New players were introduced

GGBet

Cloud9 is another participant of the VALORANT Champions Tour, which has completed its lineup before the 2025 season. In this case, the famous formation has been joined by two new acquisitions, who are to help after a disappointing campaign. As Cloud9 aims to return to form and make a strong impact in the upcoming matches, their fans can explore betting opportunities on GGBet. With competitive odds and a variety of betting options, GGBet provides an excellent platform for eSports enthusiasts to engage with the action and potentially profit from Cloud9’s performance.

C9 already in full lineup

One of the new representatives of Cloud9 is Victor “v1c” Truong, who began his professional adventure with VALORANT at the T1 academy. For the last two years, he has been associated with Moist x Shopify, with whom he competed at the VALORANT Challengers: North America level. Interestingly, however, v1c has already had the opportunity to put on a C9 jersey, and right on the field!

  • As a substitute, he was part of the lineup that won the North American Red Bull Home Ground play-ins in Seattle.
  • Apart from him, Daniel “Rossy” Abedrabbo has become a new member of the team.
  • For the 21-year-old, this is another recognized lineup on his CV. He previously played for Immortals,
  • TSM and FaZe Clan. He spent the past season in the Pacific region, where he was a member of T1.

Cloud9 filled two recently created vacancies. Let us recall that Anthony “vanity” Malaspina and Dylan “runi” Cade left the team at the beginning of the week. The latter decided to definitively end his adventure with professional VALORANT. But it is also hard to be surprised by the changes, because C9 has had a disappointing campaign. During it, the team finished 5th-6th twice in the VALORANT Champions Tour in North America, which is why they failed to advance to the world championship in South Korea. In this way, Cloud9 did not make it to the most important event on the scene for the third time in a row, where they last presented themselves in 2021.

Cloud9’s roster is as follows:

  • Cloud9 Erick “Xeppaa” Bach
  • Francis “OXY” Hoang
  • Kaleb “moose” Jayne
  • Victor “v1c” Truong
  • Daniel “Rossy” Abedrabbo
  • Ian “Immi” Harding (coach)

NRG with a new coach and two new players

NRG with a new coach and two new players

When NRG acquired two world champions from Evil Geniuses before the 2024 season, it seemed that the team would at least fight for the top positions. However, nothing like that happened. Therefore, a different solution was chosen before the upcoming VALORANT Champions Tour campaign.

Three new acquisitions

So NRG finally replaced two players and a coach. The starting five was taken by young, angry players in the persons of Adam “mady” Pampuch and Andrew “Verno” Maust. The former until recently defended the colors of Moist x Shopify Rebellion, while the latter was associated with Oxygen Esports. We are talking here about players with no experience in VCT, but who have played at the VALORANT Challengers level so far.

  • The new coach, Malkolm “bonkar” Rench, cannot boast of any particular experience either.
  • As a player, the Swede was, among others, member of Ninjas in Pyjamas or GUILD Esports.
  • But he had already worked as a coach for only a year and a half, being responsible for the results of the aforementioned Oxygen.

– I am extremely happy to announce that I have joined NRG as a new coach. I am convinced that the new season will be a real banger – assured in a social media post bonkar, who was, by the way, the world champion in the game Paladins in the past. As for NRG, the 29-year-old will take over the duties that Chet “Chet” Singh held last season. As for mada and Verno, they were appointed successors to Austin “crashies” Roberts and Victor “Victor” Wong, who recently left the team. In addition, Max “Demon1” Mazanov, who had been sitting on the bench since May, also left.

NRG’s roster is as follows:

  • NRG Ethan “Ethan” Arnold
  • Pujan “FNS” Mehta
  • Sam “s0m” Oh
  • Adam “mada” Pampuch
  • Andrew “Verno” Maust
  • Malkolm “bonkar” Rench (coach)
